The Rangers were hot in the middle innings in game one while Allison Hausl tossed a complete game allowing just five hits and two runs. Parkside took the lead in the top of the third with a pair of runs coming in on a two-run single by Megan Aliverti. The Green & White made it 3-0 with a run in the top of the fourth off a Madison Manders RBI single to plate Jessica Miklos and then pushed the lead to 5-0 off an RBI double by Aliverti and an RBI groundout by Danielle Crockett.

The final run came in in the top of the seventh when Adrien Hall hit a solo home run, the first of her career. Three Rangers finished with multiple hits in Aliverti (2-for-3), Hall (2-for-4) and Manders (2-for-4).

In game two, Parkside built an early 4-0 lead, but Lewis clawed back to score three runs in the final two innings. Morgan Moore made it 2-0 with her first career home run, a two-run shot in the top of the second inning and Hausl brought in a pair of runs in the top of the third off a two-run single.

Lewis scored one in the bottom of the sixth and two in the bottom of the seventh. The Flyers had the tying run at first base and the winning run at the plate, but Alyssa Hrncar forced a full-count groundout back to her on the mound. Hrncar finished with a complete-game allowing nine hits and two earned runs with one strikeout.

Parkside will play a pair of home games to finish out the 2018 season this weekend, first hosting Drury on Saturday for senior day and then welcoming in Missouri S&T on Sunday for the team's Pinkout Day presented by Ascension.
