ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The host Lindenwood used a late rally to comeback and defeat the Parkside softball team 9-4 Sunday afternoon to finish out the weekend.

The Rangers jumped out to a 4-3 lead after two innings of play, but Lindenwood scored three runs in each the bottom of the fifth and the bottom of sixth to pull away in the end. In the Rangers' three-run first inning,
Megan Aliverti hit an RBI single and
Jessica Miklos hit a two-run home run, the second of the season for her.
The Green & White also scored a run in the top of the second after the Lions added two in their half of the first.
Jessica Shields came in to the score on an error by the shortstop.
Miklos finished 1-for-3 with the two-run home run while
Morgan Sikon went 2-for-4 and Aliverti finished 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Kate Czoschke suffered the loss, going 4.1 innings allowing five hits and six runs with two strikeouts.
Alyssa Hrncar pitched the final 1.2 innings.
Parkside is scheduled to Rockhurst in the team's home opener next weekend on Saturday, March 10 at noon and 2 p.m.
