SAINT LEO, Fla.- UW-Parkside baseball ended their Florida trip with a loss to No. 18 Saint Leo as the Lions improved their record to 23-5 on the season Wednesday by defeating Parkside 14-3. The Rangers will battle Southern Indiana on the road on Friday, March 30 at noon and 3 p.m. to open a four-game series.

The Lions jumped to the lead early and did not let up with a one-run first inning, six-run second inning, five-run fourth inning, and two-run sixth inning. The Rangers didn't give up in the end, as
Troy Bittenbender hit a three-run home run in the top of the seventh to make it 14-3. The home run was Bittenbender's sixth of his career and first for the Rangers this season.
Bittenbender lead the way offensively, finishing 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
Dominic Esposito went 1-for-3 and added a double, while
Vincent Hubli was able to draw two walks.
The Green and White will continue on the road over spring break, heading to Southern Indiana on Friday and Saturday for a four-game series. The Rangers will host Bellarmine on Saturday, April 7 for the team's home opener.
