Box Score 2 SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Parkside softball swept Quincy in a doubleheader on Friday afternoon, as the Rangers got a wild five-run bottom of the seventh inning to win in game one and rolled to a 10-0 win in game two.

In game one, the Rangers, who improved to 8-7 with the sweep, went into the bottom of the seventh inning trailing 4-0 with just three hits to show in first six innings.
Madison Manders got the inning going with a leadoff double and
Allison Hausl and
Jessica Shields followed that with a single and a walk, respectively, to load the bases. That opened the door for
Kellie Fenza, who hit a clutch grand slam to tie the game at 4-4. It was Fenza's third career home run and first of the season.
The Rangers kept the momentum going, as
Megan Aliverti reached on an error to put the winning run on base. After a bunt single,
Jessica Miklos singled to load the bases with no outs.
Morgan Sikon came up to the plate next, but she didn't have to swing the bat as Aliverti came in on a wild pitch for the Rangers to win the game.
In game one, Parkside finished with seven hits as Hausl was the lone player with multiple hits. Fenza finished with the big grand slam while Aliverti went 1-for-3 with the game-winning run.
Alyssa Hrncar pitched the complete game for the Rangers, going 7.0 innings allowing four runs to earn her fifth win in the last six decisions.
Game two was all Rangers, as Hausl tossed the complete-game shutout allowing just five hits with two strikeouts. Parkside jumped out to a 7-0 run after the first three innings and tallied on three more in the top of the seventh.
In the first inning, Manders drove in Aliverti with an RBI single and
Jessica Crull drove in Sikon with a second straight RBI single. The third run in the inning came in on an error, making it 3-0 Parkside. The Green & White pushed another run across in the top of the second when Aliverti singled to score Fenza, who walked and stole second. Parkside then put the game out of reach in the top of third inning with three more runs, making it 7-0. In the inning, Aliverti hit a three-run double that scored

The game went scoreless until the top of the seventh inning where three more came across on a Miklos RBI double, a Manders RBI single and a Crull
The middle of the order was huge for Parkside, as Aliverti went 3-for-3 with four RBI, Miklos went 2-for-3 with two runs, Manders went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Crull went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
The Rangers will now head to St. Charles to face Lindenwood in a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
