INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The host Indianapolis needed a big second half to comeback and defeat the Parkside men's basketball team 82-73 in the 2017-18 season finale for the Rangers.

It was a game of runs early in Indianapolis, as both teams traded shots for the first 17:00 until the Rangers took a five-point lead into the locker room after
Jameel Moore went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in the final 1:11 of the first half. A Moore and-one with 10:56 to play in the half gave Parkside a seven point advantage, their largest of the game. Indy followed that with a 7-0 run of their own to erase the lead.
Early in the second half, the Rangers hung on to a small lead until the Greyhounds took a 54-52 lead with 11:48 to play in the game and never lost the lead again. The Rangers had a good shot with 6:59 to play in the game and trailing 64-62, but the Greyhounds pulled away with an 8-0 run and kept the lead at seven or more the rest of the way.
Three Rangers finished in double-figures, as Moore led the way with 19 points and a team-high three assists.
Adam Bonk had 15 points and
Ramar Evans had 13 points and six rebounds.
Joe Borcia finished with six points and eight rebounds off the bench.
Parkside shot 45.8-percent from the floor and struggled from beyond the arc, as the Greyhounds held them to 4-of-22 on the night. Indy shot 54.3 percent and went 24-of-31 at the free-throw line.
Parkside finished up the 2017-18 season with a 9-19 record and went 7-of-11 in the conference. The Rangers defeated top-ranked Bellarmine and No. 25 William Jewell this season, both of which came at home.
