In game one, the Tigers took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning and pulled away with a big four-run top of the fourth. Parkside got a run back in the bottom of the sixth inning as Adrien Hall singled to center field to score Kellie Fenza, making it 5-1 Tigers, but that was all the Rangers could push across against Marissa Butler, who went a complete game with eight strikeouts.

Kate Czoschke suffered the loss in game one, while Allison Hausl came in to finish the game. The Green & White were held to five hits, as Jessica Shields finished 3-for-4 with a stolen base.

Game two was all Rangers from beginning to end, with Hrncar going a complete-game shutout allowing just three hits. It was Parkside's first shutout of the season and Hrncar's second win of the weekend. The Rangers got a pair of huge games out of Morgan Sikon (3-for-4, 2B, four RBI) and Kellie Fenza (2-for-5, 3B, two RBI).

Parkside piled on the runs early, scoring all seven in the first four innings including a three-run top of the first. In that big first inning, Fenza drove in Shields on a single to center field and Sikon hit a clutch two-run single to score Fenza and Hall. In the second inning, Fenza made it 4-0 Parkside with a triple to center field that scored Shields.

The Rangers weren't done after that, as two more came across to score in the third off back-to-back RBI doubles by Sikon and Madison Manders made it 6-0. Sikon continued her tear in game two, ripping a single to right field in the top of fourth that scored Megan Aliverti.

The Rangers finished out the weekend 3-1 after winning both games on Saturday and return back to Wisconsin with a 4-4 record. Parkside will head to the Rosemont Dome to compete in five games next weekend from Friday to Sunday.
