ÂÂÂIn the opening match of the Crossover Tournament for Parkside, the sets went back-and-forth between the Rangers and Panthers. KWC took the first set 25-19, followed by a Parkside 25-17 win in set two, a 25-22 win by the Panthers in set three and a dominating 25-13 win in set four for the Green & White. It came down to the fifth and final set, where the teams were tied up 9-9 after a KWC attack error, but the Panthers took six of the final eight points en route to a 15-11 win in set five.

STATWORTHY
As a team, Parkside had a higher hitting percentage than the Panthers (.217-.162) and finished with more kills, blocks and assists.
Rachel Hedman led the way in kills for Parkside, going for 18 and adding 10 digs.
Lexie Calloway had 16 kills and 18 digs while
Katie Adams had a team-high 21 digs and added 11 kills.
Carlee Behnke and
Elizabeth Mavis tied for the team lead in blocks with 4.0 while Hedman had 3.0.

CROSSOVER DAY TWO
Parkside will finish out the Crossover Tournament on Saturday with a pair of matches, first playing Ohio Dominican at 9 a.m. followed by former GLVC foe William Jewell at 3 p.m. (Both times CST). For full conference standings from the tournament, visit here:
