LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UW-Parkside women's basketball saw its three-game winning streak come to an end Thursday night, as Bellarmine defeated the Rangers 93-79 at Knights Hall.

Carolina Rahkonen went for a career-high 21 points, finished with eight rebounds and tallied four assists. Hayley Maystead and Ali Bettencourt each hit four 3-pointers as the Rangers finished 14-for-29 as a team from beyond the arc, which was a season high. It's the fifth time this season Parkside hit 10 or more threes.
The teams went back and forth early, but Bellarmine ended the first quarter on a 17-2 run and led 29-15 at the end of one and the Rangers couldn't bring the game within single digits the rest of the way. Parkside went on to outscore the Knights 26-20 in the third quarter.
Parkside will stay on the road to battle division one foe Northern Iowa on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.
