CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UW-Parkside women's basketball team had an exhibition game on the road at Northern Iowa Sunday afternoon, and the Panthers came away with a 92-62 win.

The Panthers used a big first half to own a 52-32 lead at the break. The Rangers had a lead early, as Alisha Murphy hit a 3-pointer to put Parkside up 5-3, but UNI took the lead back and went on an 18-1 run extending between the first two quarters and the Green & White couldn't recover.
Hayley Maystead led the way with 14 points and six rebounds while Ali Bettencourt finished with 10 points. Carolina Rahkonen went for nine points and nine rebounds as the Rangers shot 38.6-percent from the floor. The Panthers went +11 in rebounding and committed eight less turnovers.
Parkside will now have seven of the next eight games at home, beginning with Calumet College of Saint Joseph on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 1 p.m.
