CEDARVILLE, Ohio – UW-Parkside women's basketball closed out the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament with a 100-73 loss to Ohio Dominican Saturday afternoon. The Rangers will host Trinity Christian College on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. for the home opener.

The Panthers got in control of the lead early and held it until the end, holding a 25-14 lead after the first quarter and a 51-32 lead at the half.
Four players finished in double-figures for the Rangers, as Asiah Lawson led the way with 16 points while hitting a team-high three 3-pointers. Carolina Rahkonen finished with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists while Hayley Maystead scored 14 and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double. She's now scored in double-figures in four of the five games this season. Alisha Murphy finished with 10 points and hit a pair of 3-pointers.
After five straight games on the road, the Rangers return home to host Trinity Christian on Thursday followed by Minnesota-Duluth at home on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.
