SOMERS, Wis. -- The Wisconsin-Parkside wrestling team will host Wisconsin-Whitewater in the Annual Sake Bottle Trophy dual on Wednesday (Feb. 1) in DeSimone Gymnasium.

This marks the 29th meeting between the teams in the competition for the Sake Bottle Trophy, which is currently held by Wisconsin-Parkside after the Rangers returned the trophy to Somers, Wis., with a 44-0 victory last season. The Warhawks had held the trophy for the previous two seasons, but Wisconsin-Parkside leads the all-time competition 21-7.

This will also mark the Rangers final regular season home dual of the year and will be Senior Day for Josh Anthony, Ronzel Darling and Montrail Johnson. Wisconsin-Parkside is currently ranked third in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Top 25 Poll and second in the NCAA Power Rankings.

The Rangers enter the dual match with an overall record of 10-2 on the season and are led by Nick Becker, Johnson, James Lehman, Darling and Brett Scoles. Becker is the top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 174 pounds and is 15-0 on the season, while Johnson is ranked second nationally at 184 pounds and is also undefeated at 15-0. Lehman leads the Rangers with 29 wins and 10 pins and is the seventh-ranked wrestler at 197 pounds, Darling notched his 100th career victory against Indianapolis and has posted a 26-3 overall record at 125 pounds and is ranked fifth nationally and Scoles has racked up 18 wins at 157 pounds and is ranked ninth nationally.

Wisconsin-Whitewater is ranked 10th in the latest NWCA Division III Poll and has a 10-6 overall record on the season.
