SOMERS, Wis. --
Antonio Gonzalez scored early in the second period leading the Wisconsin-Parkside men's soccer team to its second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference victory as the Rangers topped Illinois Springfield 1-0 on Friday at Wood Road Field.
Gonzalez took a pass from
Ryan Shogren and headed the ball past Prairie Star keeper Tommy Geile to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead at the 55:30 mark of the second period.
Wisconsin-Parkside, which improved to 4-4-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the GLVC, then turned to keeper
