SOMERS, Wis. -- To avoid possible weather delays, the start times for the Wisconsin-Parkside soccer matches versus Missouri S&T on Friday (Sept. 16) have been changed. The men's match will now be played at 10 a.m. and the women's match will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Wood Road Field.
The Wisconsin-Parkside men will be seeking its first Great Lakes Valley Conference win of the season as the Rangers enter the contest with a 2-2 overall record and an 0-2 mark in conference play.
Ryan Shogren leads UWP with two goals this season, while
Leki Prpa,
Antonio Gonzalez,
Stevi Krecak and
Alberto Gonzalez all have one goal for the year.
Missouri S&T enters the contest with a 1-0-2 overall record and an 0-0-1 record in conference play.
The Wisconsin-Parkside women's team will be attempting to build off of its first victory of the season as it hosts Missouri S&T. The Rangers claimed their first win of the season on Sunday with a 4-2 victory over William Jewell behind a pair of goals from
Lexi Porter.
Missouri S&T is undefeated in conference play having beaten Indianapolis 3-2 and has an overall record of 1-1.
