(Mar. 31, 2016)-- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside softball squad's cliffhanger against Lewis University on Tuesday that was halted due to darkness will be resumed on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Case Complex.

The Rangers (4-25, 1-12 GLVC) owned a 7-3 advantage heading into the final inning with dusk approaching. The Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Flyers pushed across four runs in the top of the seventh before the umpires halted the contest due to limited visibility. The game will resume in the bottom of the seventh with
Courtney Ellingson,
Raegan Fingerman, and
Alexis Simone due up for the Green and White. UW-Parkside won the opening game of the series 5-0 with
Carly Dundee tossing a complete game shutout.

Depending on end time of the halted game a non-league tilt may follow between the two squads.

UW-Parkside faces McKendree University on Saturday in a 12 p.m. twinbill in Lebanon, Illinois.
