ST. LOUIS -- Lauren Lottmann scored just 3:47 into the match and Missouri-St. Louis went on to a 1-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday at Don Dallas Field.
Lottmann got a fortunate bounce to put the Tritons ahead in the match. She took a feed from Emily Mosier in the box and fired a shot on goal, which hit the crossbar and went into the net giving UMSL the early lead.
The Rangers, who dropped to 6-5-1 overall and 6-4 in the GLVC, got their offense moving in the 12th minute.

Brooke Munroe all got off shots at the UMSL keeper, but were unable to get one past.
Missouri-St. Louis, who improved to 8-2 overall and 8-2 in conference play, controlled the pace of play in the second period as it outshot the Rangers 9-1.
Bialas led the Rangers with two shots, while Hetfleisch and Munroe each finished with one shot.
Adrianna Bratel made four saves in net for the Rangers, but dropped to 3-3-1 overall for the year.
Wisconsin-Parkside is currently in sixth place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference standings and sit one half game ahead of Quincy and a full game ahead of Lewis. The top eight teams qualify for the postseason tournament and Wisconsin-Parkside is two games ahead of both Illinois Springfield and Southern Indiana who are tied for ninth place in the standings.
The Rangers return to Wood Road Field on Friday (Oct. 14) when they host Truman State in a GLVC match slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.
