INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 13, 2015)-- Ryan Shogren converted a penalty kick six minutes into overtime, propelling the University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over host University of Indianapolis on Sunday at Key Stadium to remain undefeated in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

Shogren collected his second career game-winner in the 96th minute, beating the UIndy keeper for the game's lone goal.

The Rangers (2-2, 2-0 GLVC) were outshot by a 12-5 margin over the course of the game, but tallied the only two shots taken in overtime. The Greyhounds (1-2-1, 0-1-1 GLVC) took seven of the eight shots taken in the opening half and owned a 5-2 edge in shots in the second stanza.

UW-Parkside's best scoring chance in regulation came in the 85th minute with a Henry Raymonds blast hitting the crossbar.

Remi Bibal notched six saves to record his second straight shutout, logging all 96 minutes in goal for the Rangers. His counterpart Christopher Jones stopped three shots on the afternoon.

The Rangers are back in action on Friday, resuming its road trip with a 7:30 p.m. game against Quincy University.
