ROMEOVILLE, Ill. (Oct. 28, 2015)-- Eric Moser tallied his first collegiate goal in his final game in a Ranger uniform, lifting the University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory on Wednesday night over host Lewis University in a Great Lakes Valley Conference clash at Lewis Stadium.

Moser's first career score came in the 58th minute, tallying the contest's lone goal on a blast from 20-yards out.

The host Flyers (1-14-1, 1-13-1 GLVC) owned a 11-10 edge in shots but the Rangers (6-8-3, 6-6-3 GLVC) didn't allow a single shot on frame, owning a 7-0 advantage in shots on goal.

UW-Parkside goalkeeper Remi Bibal racked up his fifth shutout of the GLVC slate, playing all 90 minutes in net while his counterpart, Aaron Menyes, turned away six shots in the losing effort.

Despite the victory, Parkside comes up just short of the postseason, finishing tied with the University of Southern Indiana and the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in eighth place. Southern Indiana gets the nod as the eighth and final seed for the GLVC Tournament with a 1-0-1 record against UMSL and UW-Parkside. The Rangers owned a 0-0-2 record against USI and UMSL while Missouri-St. Louis was 0-1-1.
