The opening set was all Parkside (15-6).  Already with a three point lead early in the first set, the Rangers went on an 8-1 run, including four kills from Lexi Turek and a five serve run from Jessi Mainczyk.  UW-Parkside rolled to a 25-11 win.

Michigan Tech (15-6) took an early lead in the second set, but Parkside came back and held off the Huskies 25-23.  The Rangers had to stop a late charge from the Huskies in the third set.  With a one point 22-21 lead, Parkside subbed in Abby Verheyen to serve out the final three points of the match, winning 25-21.

Parkside was led offensively for the match by Jackie Langer's 17 kills and Lauren Hickson's 31 assists.  Defensively, Meghan Conley had 12 digs and Jessi Mainczyk had 11.  Rebecca Roembke was named to the All-Tournament Team with 37 kills, averaging 4 per set, and a .378 hitting percentage for the weekend.
