SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Oct. 16, 2015)-- A late goal in each half was more than enough offense for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's soccer squad on Friday night, vanquishing Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Drury University 2-0 inside Harrison Stadium.

The visiting Rangers (5-6-2, 5-4-2 GLVC) got on the board in the 44th minute with Henry Raymonds collecting his first collegiate score on a shot from 12-yards out. Ryan Shogren provided the assist as UW-Parkside enjoyed a 1-0 lead at the halftime intermission.

Evan Garcia cemented the win for the Rangers in the waning moments of the game, scoring his team-leading sixth goal in the 88th minute off a pass from Scott Nicolai. The feed was Nicolai's third assist of the 2015 campaign.

The host Panthers owned (6-5-2, 6-3-2 GLVC) a 12-5 advantage in shots, including a 6-4 edge in shots on frame.

Ranger goalkeeper Remi Bibal turned away six shots, collecting his fourth shutout of GLVC play while Drury's Blake Andrews made two saves in the losing effort.

UW-Parkside continues its road swing on Sunday, facing Missouri University S&T at 2:30 p.m.
