It was a pitching duel in the opener with the host Panthers (13-31, 10-16 GLVC) netting the game's lone run in the bottom of the second inning. Two of the Rangers' (3-24, 3-18 GLVC) three hits in the game came in the top of the first.
Colleen Cummings singled to left field before a
Kalli Gosser base knock to the same location advanced Cummings to second with one out. UW-Parkside's chance at generating runs came to an abrupt halt with an inning-ending double play.
The Panthers led off the second with a single before advancing the runner to second on a sacrifice bunt. Courtney deRonde belted a single to left center field to plate what turned out to be the game's lone run.
Carly Dundee suffered the loss in the circle, tossing a complete-game, allowing just five hits and striking out two. Drury's Jessica Kjeldgaard claimed the win, fanning two batters in seven innings of work.
In game two, the Rangers belted out 13 hits, building an early advantage en route to the 5-1 victory.

Kira Cooper on a base knock to left field. Parkside doubled its advantage in the second with a

Samantha Magruder.
The Rangers pounded out four hits in the fourth inning, manufacturing a pair of runs for the 4-0 advantage. UW-Parkside loaded the bases after Magruder,

Diana Gordon.
The Panthers pushed across a run in the sixth inning, to close the gap to 5-1 before the Rangers shut down the hosts in the seventh with a three-up, three-down inning to preserve the win.
Cooper paced the Rangers at the dish in game two, finishing a perfect three-for-three. Simone and Magruder each had a pair of hits while Kleinmeyer drove in two runs.
Kleinmeyer tallied the win, allowing just four hits and one run in the complete game effort while Kjeldgaard suffered the loss, allowing two earned runs in two innings or work.
