SAINT LOUIS, Mo. (Oct. 12, 2014)-- Karley Mecko collected a pair of header goals helping the 13th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Parkside women's soccer claim its third consecutive shutout with a 4-0 win over the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match on Sunday at Don Dallas Field.

Mecko got things started for the visiting Rangers (10-0-2, 8-0-2 GLVC) in the 12th minute, heading the ball past the keeper off a Niekie Pellens corner kick. The scoreline remained 1-0 at the halftime break before UW-Parkside erupted for three goals in the final 45 minutes of play.

Mecko struck again in the 56th minute, finding the back of the net on a header after Pellens once again served the ball into the box on a corner kick. The goal was Mecko's team-leading seventh score of the year while Pellens notched her team-best ninth assist.

Bailey Reed pushed the Ranger advantage to 3-0 in the 73rd minute, blasting the ball from 22 yards out for her third score of the season with Jae Jay Usab claiming the assist.
