LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 6, 2013)-- Kaela Hoecherl tallied the game's lone goal just 27 seconds into extra time, giving the visiting University of Wisconsin-Parkside the 1-0 victory over host Bellarmine University on Sunday afternoon in a Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer showdown at Frazier Stadium.

After 90 minutes of scoreless soccer it took the Rangers just 27 seconds to net the game-winner in overtime as Hoecherl collected the ball and scored on an unguarded goal after the Bellarmine keeper misplayed the cross.

UW-Parkside goalkeeper Mallory Geurts collected her second consecutive shutout and fifth of the season, recording eight saves on the afternoon. The Rangers defense has not yielded a goal in 276 minutes a streak spanning back to last Sunday's 4-1 win over Maryville University. The Knights' Erin Ottman tallied four saves in the losing effort.

The Rangers return to the pitch on Friday, hosting University of Illinois Springfield at 1:15 p.m.
