LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2012)-- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball squad suffered a 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19) setback to Bellarmine University on Saturday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference clash at Knights Hall.
The host Knights (15-5, 10-3 GLVC) turned a 4-4 deadlock into a 25-19 win in the opening set before posting the 25-18 victory in set two. The Rangers (17-8, 6-7 GLVC) never trailed in a 25-22 win before falling 25-19 in the fourth set.
Bridget Nickel tallied 12 kills while
Tricia Tirabassi added 20 assists and 12 digs.
Chelsea Neave contributed 18 assists while
Sarah Mlachnik added 17 digs.
The Rangers return to action on Tuesday, hosting Lewis University at 7 p.m. inside DeSimone Gymnasium.
