SOMERS, Wis. (Oct. 19, 2012)-- A goal three minutes into the game proved to be the only scoring as the University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's soccer squad ended up on the wrong end of a 1-0 affair on Friday afternoon against the University of Indianapolis in a Great Lakes Valley Conference clash at Wood Road Field.
UIndy's (7-7-2, 6-5-2 GLVC) Joe McGuire provided the game's lone score, putting the Greyhounds on the board exactly three minutes into the skirmish off assists from Ahmed Mitiche and Jesse Waninger.
Indianapolis outshot the Rangers (6-8-1, 5-8 GLVC) by a 12-4 margin in the opening half before finishing with a 20-9 edge while holding a slim 8-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Austin Robb accounted for three of the Rangers' six shots on target while
Kinkade Lo,
Jesus Oseguera and
Ryan Crane each tallied one apiece.

Nick Huftalin turned away seven shots in 90 minutes of work while his counterpart, ANdrew Verhonik, tallied six saves.
