Rangers handle the Saints in four

After an emotional weekend of beating ninth-ranked Indianapolis and St. Joe's, the Parkside Rangers took the floor at St. Francis. The team took on the Saints Wednesday. The Rangers pulled out with a win, 25-19, 25-19, 21-25, 25-16.

The Rangers hit a .226 percentage, while the Saints hit a .089 with a .297 in the third set. 

Tami Gleason and Addie Kramer led with double digits in kills with 12 and 11, and Cassy Marx with 7. The setters dished out a total of 38 assists, Courtney Stack with 20 and Cayla Flood with 18 and Stacie Bower with 15 digs. 

The win moves the Rangers' overall record to 8-3. With a six game winning streak, the team remains 2-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference. 

The Rangers return home for conference action Friday, Sept. 24, versus Illinois-Springfield at 7 p.m.
