Norse continue to have UWP's number

The Northern Kentucky volleyball squad has won eight consecutive matches against UW-Parkside, dating back to October 1 of 2004 when the Rangers last walked away a winner. The Norse beat the Rangers in straight sets in the DeSimone Gymnasium Saturday afternoon, 25-19, 30-28, 25-21.

The Norse move to 14-8 overall and 5-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UW-Parkside is now 12-6 overall and 5-3 in league play.

Northern Kentucky hit for a match percentage of .267, while the Rangers were at .202.

Addie Kramer and Caroline Langer each had eight kills for Parkside.

The Rangers will host non-conference foe Saint Xavier in a "Dig Pink" match in the DeSimone Gymnasium Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7:00 p.m.
