Box Score

The UW-Parkside women's soccer team was dominant in its 5-0 victory over Minnesota-Moorhead at a sun-splashed Wood Road Field Monday afternoon. The team scored just 8:09 into the game, setting the pace.

Shannon Becker, last season's Great Lakes Valley Conference Freshman of the Year, found the back of the net for the initial goal. It was assisted by Meredith Novak.

The second goal came 13 minutes later. Becky Zirlin scored unassisted to give the Rangers some breathing room. The team tacked on one more before halftime as Jamine Espino tallied with help from Crystal Sims at 40:35. Espino scored just seconds after entering the game.

Novak scored off of a corner kick from Becker to open the second half scoring. Becker scored the final goal of the game with help from Espino.

Cassie Glodowski picked up her first win of the season in goal for the Rangers.
