The Ranger women's volleyball team closed the curtain on the 2009 season when it hosted Drury on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.

Drury dropped the first two games to the Rangers, but stormed back to take a 24-26, 23-25, 25-20, 25-15, 17-15 victory.

Seniors Jen Johnson and Vicki Hart wore the Ranger uniform for the last time. Johnson had 11 kills in the contest. Hart logged five digs.

Drury heads to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament with a 16-13 overall record. The Panthers end the regular season with a 7-6 league record.

Parkside ends with a 21-12 overall record, which is the best mark since 1997. The team had a 5-9 record in the GLVC.

Drury hit for a .280 percentage. The Rangers hitg at .249.
