Kilps goes for win No. 400 this weekend

UW-Parkside's veteran head men's soccer coach Rick Kilps will be going for yet another milestone in his storied coaching career this weekend. Now in his 24th season at UW-Parkside and 31st overall (7 years at Aurora), Kilps has a career coaching record of 398-152-43.

Consecutive victories at Southern Indiana Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan Sunday would give the legendary mentor win No. 400. Only three other coaches in NCAA Division II history have amassed 400 wins.

The Rangers are currently 7-4-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UW-Parkside scored a 9-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan at Wood Road Field last season and topped Southern Indiana, 4-1.

Southern Indiana is 4-7-1 overall so far this season and is 2-5 in the GLVC. Kentucky Wesleyan is 3-9-1 overall and is 0-7 in league play.
