The visiting Lewis University women's volleyball team came to the DeSimone Gymnasium Tuesday night, fresh off of ending Indianapolis' 25-match winning streak. The Flyers didn't let up in their Somers appearance, beating the Rangers in three straight games, 30-26, 30-24, 30-21.
The win vaulted the Flyer record to 25-3 overall and 15-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UW-Parkside is 13-12 overall and 6-11 in GLVC play.
Katie Krohn (Rock Island, Ill.) had 34 assists for UW-Parkside. Jackie Nehls (Iron Ridge, Wis.) logged 21 digs.
The Rangers will close the season with a pair of home matches. The team will host Parent's Night, Friday, Nov. 2, versus Northern Kentucky, at 7 p.m. The finale will be a Senior Day date with Bellarmine Saturday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m.
