Jimmy Gavin finished the week averaging 34.0 points per game, guiding the 12^th-ranked Rangers to a pair of road wins over GLVC East rivals McKendree and Illinois Springfield. The junior guard piled on 28 points in the Rangers’ 16-point win over McKendree on Feb. 19 before scoring nearly half of Parkside’s total points in an 83-82 overtime victory over UIS on Feb. 21, dropping a career-high 40 points on the Prairie Stars while hitting seven threes.

Gavin finished the week shooting 54.5 percent (12-for-22) from three-point range while averaging 3.0 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game.
