University of Wisconsin-Parkside grappler Aaron Heidersheid was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Wrestler of the Week on Jan. 26, become the second Ranger to claim the award this season.

Heidersheid nabs the accolade after claiming the final match of the night in last Wednesday's dual against Concordia University Wisconsin, giving the Rangers (4-2) a come-from-behind 21-19 dual victory. The Rangers trailed the Falcons 19-14 with two matches left and trailed by one when the Adams, Wisconsin native hit the mat for the 149-pound bout. The redshirt junior downed Quinton Lueck by decision 10-4 to secure the match win and improve his overall record to 11-8.
