Emily Konior was among the 27 student-athletes named to the Daktronics All-Midwest Region Women's Soccer Team on Nov. 25. The defender lands Second Team honors for the second consecutive season.

Konior lands a spot on the squad after finishing second on the team in goals (eight) and points (17). The junior defender started in 21 games for the Rangers (14-5-3), anchoring a backline that tallied 11 shutouts on the season. The criminal justice major tallied the game-winning goal against Michigan Tech University on Nov. 15 in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Tournament while finishing the year a perfect three-for-three on penalty kicks. Konior was a Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection in 2013, landing Second Team accolades after earning Third Team All-GLVC honors as a sophomore in 2012.

The 13-player First Team and 14-player Second Team was selected by the region's sports information directors.

UW-Parkside advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season in 2013 while claiming its 15th straight winning campaign.
