Kiah Simon scored a career-high 18 points to lead all scorers on Saturday, helping the UW-Parkside women's basketball team to a 67-57 victory over GLVC East Division leader Kentucky Wesleyan College inside DeSimone Gymnasium.

Simon, making just her fourth career start, hit eight of her 12 attempts from the floor for a career-high 18 points. The senior eclipsed her previous career-high by halftime, scoring 10 points in the opening 20 minutes of action.

UW-Parkside has won three of its last four since Simon has cracked the starting five.
