Kyohei Makita has been selected as the Ranger of the week following his performance in Wisconsin-Parkside's season opening series at Missouri Southern State. He batted .438 with three home runs, a double and five RBI. He also had two stolen bases, had a slugging percentage of 1.063 and an on-base percentage of .471
