The University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Andy Mazurczak tallied Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week accolades for the third time this season on Feb. 15 after leaving behind a trail of carnage on both sides of the Mississippi River. The senior collects the award after guiding the 17th-ranked Rangers to a pair of road overtime wins at the expense of GLVC West Division co-leaders Truman State University and Quincy University.

Mazurczak finished the week averaging 33.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game, and 4.5 assists per game, becoming the winningest player in program history in the process along with helping the GLVC East Division co-leading Rangers (20-3, 13-2 GLVC) notch their unprecedented fourth consecutive 20-win campaign.

The sport management major piled on a career-best 40 points on Thursday against Truman State, helping the team erase a nine-point deficit en route to the 102-96 overtime win. 32 of Mazurczak's 40 points came after the halftime intermission, including the game tying shot with nine seconds left to send the game into overtime. The senior scored 21 consecutive points for UW-Parkside stretching from the final five minutes of regulation into overtime, single-handedly turning a nine-point shortfall into a three-point lead. Mazurczak additionally added six rebounds and five assists while netting his 88th career win with the Green and White, surpassing legend Stevie King (1974-1978) as the winningest player in program history.

Two days later against Quincy, Mazurczak piled on 26 points including the game-winning basket with 0.2 seconds left in overtime as the Rangers rallied from a 14-point deficit to notch their fourth consecutive 20-win campaign.

For the week, Mazurczak shot 60.5 percent from the floor (23-for-38), playing 80 total minutes and turned the ball over just three times.
