Kristin Conniff finished the first week of GLVC play averaging 23.0 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game, helping the Rangers (5-3, 1-1 GLVC) earn a road split. The senior drained five threes on Thursday’s GLVC opener, piling on a career-high 24 points while securing four steals in the seven-point victory over the University of Indianapolis. Two days later, the Illinois native had 22 points and finished a perfect six-for-six at the charity stripe in a four-point setback to Saint Joseph’s College.
For the week, Conniff shot 42.9 percent (nine-for-21) from beyond the arc while collecting five steals, four assists, and two blocks while shooting 84.6 percent (11-for-13) from the free throw line.
