The Great Lakes Valley Conference released its weekly award winners on Sept. 14 with University of Wisconsin-Parkside goalkeeper Remi Bibal earning Men's Soccer Defender of the Week accolades for his performance over the weekend.

Bibal tallied a pair of clean sheets over the weekend, helping the Rangers (2-2, 2-0 GLVC) get off to their best start in GLVC play since 2006. The redshirt junior made five saves in 90 minutes of work on Friday against Saint Joseph's College, stopping a penalty kick in the 53rd minute and collecting the 1-0 shutout victory in his first start of the season. The Toulouse, France native turned away six shots in 96 minutes of action on Sunday against GLVC preseason favorite University of Indianapolis as the Rangers escaped Key Stadium with a 1-0 overtime win.
