UW-Parkside wrestler Nick Fishback was named the Male Athlete of the Year on May 11 at the 14th Annual Ranger Awards Banquet at the Student Center Ballroom.
 
Fishback finished the 2014-2015 season with a 35-4 record on the mat, placing fifth at the NCAA Division II Championships to earned All-American honors for the first time in his career. The redshirt junior won weight class titles at the UW-Stevens Point Open, Wisconsin Open, Concordia Open, and was runner-up at the Saint Cloud State Open. The 165-pounder missed almost a month of the season due to injury before returning to the mat at the NCAA Super Regionals, placing third to punch his ticket to the national meet.
