KENOSHA, Wis. (May 7, 2013)-- With two rounds in the books, host University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's golf squad sits in 18th place at the 2013 NCAA Division II Super Regional held at The Club at Strawberry Creek.
Keith Buntrock and
Jake Wisniewski sit tied at 38th overall, both having a two-day tally of 149. Buntrock shot a 73 on Monday before carding a 76 on Tuesday while Wisniewski shot a 72 in the opening round before recording a 77 in round two.
Kyle Kolberg has a score of 153 (76-77) while
Brian Krupo is one stroke back at 154, shooting a 79 on Monday before improving by four strokes in round two, tallying a 75 on Tuesday.
Nick Corban rounds out the Ranger contingent with a 156 (77-79).
The Rangers sit in 18th as a team, shooting a 305 on Tuesday for a two-day tally of 603. University of Missouri-Saint Louis and University of Central Oklahoma sit tied atop the team standings heading into the final day, both owning a score of 573 while the University of Central Missouri is one stroke back in third place. Central Missouri's Robby Hughey remains the top individual, owning a two-day score of 134 and holding a four-stroke advantage over second place.
UW-Parkside tees off at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the final day of the Super Regional.
