Luke Hooker was named the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations in June of 2024.
Prior to his new position at Parkside, Hooker spent the past year as the Parkside Graduate Assistant of Facilities and was the Membership Coordinator. There Hooker helped manage the Parkside Athletics facilities and coordinated and grew the public memberships program.
Hooker also spent time as a Volunteer Wrestling coach in 2023-24. He was part of a staff that sent seven wrestlers to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships with four coming home with All-American status.
Hooker spent five seasons as a student-athlete at Parkside, competing on the wrestling team from 2018-2023. He was part of the 2022-23 team that went undefeated in duals, winning the program’s first-ever NSIC title.
As a student-athlete Hooker also served on the Ranger Student Athlete Advisory Committee (RSAAC). He was voted RSAAC President and served in that role from 2022-23.
Additionally, Hooker works at the National Wrestling Coaches Association, and had the honor to help coordinate the 2024 Women’s National Wrestling Championships.
Luke is a two-time Parkside graduate, earning a M.S. in Sports Management in 2024 and his B.A. in Sports Management in 2022.
