Nick Grbavac (Ger-ba-vots) joins the University of Wisconsin-Parkside women’s soccer staff in the summer of 2015 as an assistant.
Grbavac previously served as an assistant for the men’s program at Concordia University Wisconsin and as an assistant for the women’s team at Alverno College. While at Alverno, he worked under current Ranger head coach Brittany Nikolic, helping the Inferno post their best record in program history.
Grbavac attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he was a member of the Panther soccer team. After graduation, he continued to play competitively with the Croatian Eagles Majors and U23 squads, helping the Majors to a National Championship and the U23 team to a national finalist showing in 2012.
He additionally serves as a youth coach for the Franklin based Croatian Eagles and is the development coordinator for the Milwaukee Soccer Development Group.
Grbavac graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in sports administration from Concordia University Chicago. He additionally is pursuing a doctorate in education (EdD) in sports administration.
