Parkside Athletics

Amanda Troup was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success in June of 2026.

Troup, a former Parkside track and field and cross country student-athlete, joined the Parkside Athletics administrative team as the department's athletics academic advisor in August of 2023.

In her role, Troup works directly with Parkside student-athletes to support their academic success, personal growth and overall well-being. During her time with the department, Parkside Athletics has continued to maintain a strong standard of academic success. Most recently, the Rangers posted a 3.30 department GPA during the spring 2026 semester, with every athletic program recording a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Under Troup's guidance, Parkside Athletics has consistently seen 80% or more of its student-athletes earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher, while more than 60% of student-athletes have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Troup is a two-time graduate of Parkside, earning her bachelor's degree in 2019 and her master's degree in 2021.
