Parkside Athletics

Sarah Eichler joined the Parkside women's basketball program as an assistant coach in August of 2018.

Eichler, a Grafton, Wis., native, spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach for William & Mary College in Virginia. With Eichler, the Tribe had back-to-back winning seasons including one of the best in school history in 2016-17 where the team tied a program record with 20 wins and advanced to the CAA Tournament semifinals for the first time in over 15 years.
 
Before William & Mary, Eichler spent a pair of seasons as an assistant coach at Hartford, where the Hawks posted 27 wins during her time and earned a trip to the America East Championship game.
 
Eichler was a standout basketball player at mid-major powerhouse Green Bay, where she was an All-Horizon league performer and became the 31^st player in program history to record 1,000 career points. During her time for the Phoenix, the team won four straight Horizon League titles and made a Sweet 16 trip in 2010. Eichler went on to play professionally for one season after Green Bay, where she averaged 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds for Stevensgade Club in Copenhagen, Denmark.
 
Eichler earned her degree in elementary education with a minor in human development, graduating from Green Bay in 2013.
