Oliver Wiseman joins the UW-Parkside women's basketball staff as an assistant prior to the 2014-2015 season. Wiseman is responsible for the Rangers' offensive scheme and play calling, as well as recruiting and skill development.
The Houston, Texas native served as the head coach for the junior varsity girls program at Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri during the 2013-2014 season while also assisting with the varsity team that claimed its first conference title in over 20 years. Prior to Fox High School, Wiseman served as a varsity assistant for Ursuline Academy in Saint Louis from 2011-2013, notching the program's first ever 20-win season during the 2011-2012 campaign.
Wiseman additionally has experience at the AAU level, serving as head coach for the St. Louis Force high school and sixth grade boys teams from 2012-2014.
Wiseman played collegiately at fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference member Maryville University before serving as an student assistant. While playing for the Saints he was an Academic All-Conference selection and led the team in grade point average.
He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology in 2012 while receiving his master's degree in sports psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2014.
