High school: Two-time Most Valuable Player at Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois. Led her team to a sectional championship and a state Elite Eight appearance. Notched a career pitching record of 60-5 with an 0.45 earned run average. At the plate, she hit .525 her senior year.

2007: Pitched all eight innings of a 2-1 win over Lewis 4-18-07. Struck out six vs. Queens 3-14-07. Posted a 7-6 record with a 2.62 earned run average, striking out 39 and walking nine. Made 21 appearances on the pitching rubber, starting 16, with eight complete games.

2008: Had six assists vs. Kentucky Wesleyan 4-14-08. Struck out seven in a game twice, vs. St. Francis 3-26-08 and vs. St. Xavier 4-24-08. Logged a 7-9 record with a 3.37 earned run average. Struck out 48 and walked 45 in 98 innings.
2009: Posted a 5-4 record with a 3.68 earned run average. Pitched all seven innings three times. Struck out four at Southern Indiana 3-30-09. Had four assists vs. Minnesota State Moorhead 3-17-09.
