Taelor Schmitz joined the Parkside Athletics Staff in September of 2023.
Schmitz, a native of Island Lake, Ill., graduated from Kishwaukee College in 2019. She played softball there for two years and obtained her Associates in Science. She then attended St. Thomas College where she would play softball for two more years and obtain her Sports Administration degree when she graduated in 2021. While at St. Thomas she also spent time in the Athletics Communications office as an intern in 2021.
After obtaining her degrees Schmitz went on to coach softball as an assistant at McHenry County College from 2021-2023. During her time there she helped the program generate three 1st team all-conference players.
