High School: First team all-state player for East Aurora High School ... Other honors in his senior season included first team all-conference, first team all-sectional, and All-Chicago Tribune  ... Tabbed the Aurora Beacon News Player of the Year ... Academic all-conference honoree ... Three-time all-conference and all-sectional player ... Had 60 assists and scored 18 goals in his career.
