High School: Funteas Jr. guided the Warriors to a West Suburban Conference title on the track. Funteas owns personal bests of 2:02 in the 800-meter run, 4:30 for the 1,600-meter run, 9:49 for the 3,200-meter run, and 15:15 for the 5,000-meter run
