• Started in 24 of 36 games played
• Hit .262 through 84 at bats with 22 hits, four doubles, one homerun, 16 RBI and seven runs scored
• Collected one stolen base and five walks
• Had 164 putouts with 10 assists
• Caught nine runners stealing

2025: Freshman Season

• Started in 20 of 26 games played

• Recorded four extra base hits including two HR

• Tallied first career HR on 3/21/25 vs nationally ranked Grand Valley State

• Attended Oak Creek High School

• First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-District, Three-time team Gold Glove WInner

• 2024 State Semifinals, 2023 Sectional Finals, 2022 Sectional Semifinals, 2021 Sectional Semifinals

• Honor Roll for three year

• Parents are Marcus and Jill Hanel

  • Marcus played for Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Atlanta Braves

  • Marcus was also the Milwaukee Brewers bullpen catcher for 20 years

• Siblings are Grace Ashley, and Levi

  • Grace played volleyball at the University of Sioux Falls
